Raised between cultures, she has always understood the rules.
Family comes first.
Loyalty is everything.
And some choices are not yours to make.

But as the expectations that once defined her life begin to feel like constraints, she is forced to confront a difficult question: who is she, beyond what others expect her to be?

Family. Culture. Identity.

Carolynn Pietrangeli's debut novel, The Sicilian Daughter follows three generations of women as family secrets unfold and questions of cultural heritage and personal identity come to the surface. It is a story woven with love, struggle, and the complexities of honoring the past while carving out a future of one’s own.
