About the Author
Carolynn Pietrangeli
Carolynn was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She later moved to Canada to complete her studies, a place she has lovingly called home ever since. She lives with her husband in Grimsby, Ontario, near the beauty of Niagara Falls. Carolynn is a retired university professor of immunology, having taught at both McGill University and Brock University. The Sicilian Daughter is her debut novel, a story inspired by her own family experiences that explores the delicate balance between loyalty to family and cultural traditions while searching for an independent identity.
